The Event

MTC Building

The Boosting Innovation in Manufacturing Competencies Networking and Consortium Building event will focus on explaining the key elements and opportunities of the competition as well as offering a unique opportunity for organisations to meet up with and discuss potential projects with a view to building consortia. The event programme has been designed with plenty of opportunity to make and build new connections.

This event is intended to provide a forum in which:

  • The key elements of the "Boosting innovation in manufacturing competencies" competition call will be explained by members of the Technology Strategy Board
  • Organisations can meet and discuss potential projects with a wide cross-section of other organisations from multiple industry sectors
  • Organisations will have a platform to present their business to the audience via a presentation session and via a small poster display (this is limited to 10 spaces on a first come first served basis and is limited to 1 x pull up banner)
  • Embryonic consortia can network to meet and recruit extra partners into their consortia and meet in private syndicate rooms on site

If you are interested in delivering a 3 minute pitch, please ensure your slides (3 slides max) are submitted to Steve Statham by close of play on 2nd February.
